 Hi, I'm Yiren

Welcome to my Home page.  First, let me introduce myself. I am a DCHE student from Class 2B01, team member of F4.  

Last semester, my team and I went through a wonderful time in ICPD class. In the end, We worked out a prototype using cardboard on our idea Chemical Product, the self-cooker. All this work can't achieve without a team effort. In the new semester, we improved on our team formation and hope that our team will have a better performance in the future.

Personal Goal

This semester, to ensure that I can bring our self-cooker into a real product that can function well. I need to enhance my skills in the areas such as CAD, 3D printing, programming, design of experiments hypothesis testing, and project development.

Here are some of the personal goals and what I will take to achieve them.

• Improve my CAD skills in Fusion 360

To achieve this, I will spend my free time practicing and studying Fusion 360 by myself. For the first few weeks. I will watch some online teaching videos. After I'm confident about what I have learned, I will practice my skills by sketching the products in our daily life such as the earphone, TV controllers, and kettle. 

• Develop a clear plan and follow

Planning is a very productive skill for teamwork, Last time, I usually do the work at a random time, focus area, and pace. This affects my work quality. For this semester, I will create both general & detailed plans on my work and team goals. To ensure that the plans carry out effectively. By the end of every week, I will reflect on the plans and change them accordingly.
